SHAH ALAM (Sin Chew Daily) — Winner of the Sin Chew Education Awards “Educationist of the Year” award, Sunway Education Group and Sunway University Senior Executive Director Dr Elizabeth Lee said she loved knowledge, and loved to learn and teach.

She believed that human lives would change for the better under the influence of the power of education.

She also said a person needs not be a world class leader in order to change the world, but can do so by grooming and shaping the future leaders of this world.

“I am proud to have been able to join the organization of Tan Sri Dr Jeffrey Cheah, and be a part of his education philosophy.”

She thanked Tan Sri Dr Cheah for setting up Sunway Education Group. Today, Jeffrey Cheah Foundation boasts more than RM402 million in surplus which can be used not only for scholarships but also R&D to promote high quality education for Malaysians.
