No pictures of King, PM, for Kelantan govt offices
KOTA BHARU, Apr 2 (MySinchew) — Press secretary to Kelantan menteri besar Ahmad Yakob confirmed that state government departments and agencies had been instructed not to put up the pictures of Yang di-Pertuan Agong and the prime minster.
However, he said the directive was not from the menteri besar but the Kelantan royal family.
At the same time, the Kelantan state secretariat had issued a letter to state departments to put up the pictures of Sultan Muhammad V, Crown Prince Tengku Muhammad Faiz Petra, former Sultan of Kelantan Sultan Ismail Petra and menteri besar Datuk Ahmad Yakob.
The letter was signed by deputy state secretary Datuk Adnan Hussin.
