PENANG (Sin Chew Daily) –- The recent Sin Chew Business Excellence Awards roadshow at Hotel Jen Penang has been greeted with overwhelming response from the local business community.

Sin Chew Business Excellence Awards is jointly organized by Sin Chew Daily and sinchew.com.my. The Penang Chinese Chamber of Commerce Young Entrepreneurs Committee is the regional partner for the event.

Penang Chinese Chamber of Commerce President Datuk Seri Hong Yeam Wah said during the roadshow that Sin Chew Business Excellence Awards has developed into a coveted industrial event in this country.

He said PCCC has always had a strong relationship with Sin Chew Daily which he said is a bridge that effectively links PCCC members, the public and the government in disseminating information.

He also said the government should create a business-friendly environment as the Malaysian economy now encounters a host of tough challenges.

Meanwhile, Sin Chew Daily general manager (project) cum Sin Chew Business Excellence Awards working committee chairperson Ms Lenny Chiah said the event with the theme of “Innovation, Transformation, Sustainability, Leadership” aspires to become the most creditworthy and coveted award event in the country.

Deadline for registration is June 15, 2019, with the award presentation ceremony expected to be held in November.
